What to See & Do
Mediterranean Beaches
Relax on the nearby Mediterranean beaches in Altea, Calpe, Moraira, and beyond. The closest beaches are 25 minutes down the mountain.

Mountain Villages
Visit the medieval villages of the Marina Baixa. Visit the cliff-side castle in Guadalest, wander the narrow streets of Polop de la Marina, take a hike up toTarbena, or have a traditional meal in Benimantell.
Wine Tasting
Alicante wines were among King Louis XIV's favorites. Visit nearby vineyards and taste the coastal monastrell whites. Masos Guadalest is our favorite.

Sailing & Kayaking
Boat charters, kayak and paddle board rentals are readily available within a 30 minutes drive.
Hikes
There are stunning hikes up and down the Costa Blanca, many starting from Bolulla. Head up to the 13th century Castle de Garx from the house for a challenge or explore the ruins of a Renaissance military fortress commissioned by King Philip II.

Waterfalls
Find your swimming hole and take in the waterfalls at the Fonts d'Algar. Venture further afield for more natural wonders across the Valencia region.
Cycling & Mountain Biking
Ride alongside the Tour de France professional cycling teams -- they ride through Bolulla daily during training season. Well paved roads (hills!), trails, and great weather make this area a bikers' Mecca.

Climbing & Canyoneering
Strap in for a belay down the Bolulla canyon or climb the many routes of the Costa Blanca. No experience necessary. Guided canyoneering and beginner to advanced climbing excursions available.
